Ⅰ.  What do I need before applying for a NTHU Alumni Membership Card?

Anyone who wants to apply for a NTHU Alumni Membership Card must have a degree from NTHU or be certified by NTHU as eligible for alumni (Honorary Doctor, Honorary Alumni, or those who have studied at NTHU, have made extraordinary contributions to it and are certified by the Office of the Secretariat as such and who will process the related college or institute matters.)

Ⅱ.  How much is the fees? How long is its validity?

There are two types of NTHU Alumni Membership Cards:

※New graduates ONLY: Within 3 months of graduation(starting from the graduation month as mentioned on their diplomas), you can enjoy a preferential price of NTD 3,000 for a lifetime alumni card. 

Ⅲ.  How do I get a new Membership Card?

Here are the application procedure for the Alumni Card:

　　a. Have completed University-leaving formalities.

　　b. Have documents prepared: One 2-Inch or personal full-face photograph and your Graduation Certificate (for those applicants that do not have their data in the Alumni system).

　　c.  Application Method:

　　You can either come to the University in person to apply: proceed to the Alumni Service Center on the second floor of the Tsing Hua Hall of Fame, or apply online: fill in the Application Form for the Alumni Card , attach a 2-inch or a personal full-face photo and send it to alumni@my.nthu.edu.tw. It takes about 5 working days, excluding holidays, from the receipt of the application form, photo and payment to process them.

Ⅳ.  How do I make a payment?

Those who have completed the application for, or the reissue of, the NTHU Alumni Membership Card will not be refunded except for a special reason

• By ATM transfer: E.SUN Bank (code 808), account number: 0060-951-891666, and please e-mail to inform the name, transfer date, transfer amount and the last 5 digits of the transfer.

• Fill in the credit card authorization form in the Application Form of Alumni Membership Card , and then send it to alumni@my.nthu.edu.tw.

The receipt of the application will be collected with your membership card if you come to Alumni Center in person, or be sent by post along with the card.

Ⅴ.  Additional Formalities for the Application of the Library Card

With a Alumni Card, you can apply for other sevices:

a. Alumni Library Card: The Alumnus/Alumna, with a valid Alumni Card , may proceed to the Library (main) and apply for his/her borrowing rights after payment of an annual fee of NTD 500 for a Library card and a guarantee deposit of NTD 3,000, refundable without interest upon his/her decision not to renew the card. b. Friends of the Library Card: Alumni, with valid library cards, may apply for a Friends of the Library Card for their spouses and immediate family members aged over 16 years old. Detailed contents.
