摘要：

While users’ social network experiences are increasingly enriched by unceasing technological advances, their implication to novel socio-technological issues such as privacy protection, misinformation handling, and environmental sustainability are looming challenges to be attended in the entire end-to-end system design. This talk aims at discussing these challenges and their respective research directions.

講者簡介：

Hsien-Hsin Sean Lee leads the Systems for Machine Learning Research at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) at Meta. Previously, he directed the EDA design flow solutions and the PDK R&D at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), Taiwan. Prior to TSMC, he was a tenured Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, an Architecture Manager at Agere Systems, and a senior CPU architect at Intel Corporation. Dr. Lee received his BS in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University and was the Valedictorian of the Class 1990 Commencement. He then received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
